Malkin is back and playing. Sid has practiced 3 days in a row at full exertion with no concussion symptoms as of yet. Contact wil be introduced shortly imo.

He also was working in traffic during practices (slight jostling) no hitting.

I look for him to be back mid-october.

All kidding aside I do hope Crosby can come back 100%. The concern I have as a fan of hockey is it's only going to take one hit & it won't have to be a big one.

I don't want to see the same thing happen to Sid that happened to Marc Savard, but I'll be surprised if it doesn't happen. Sid is now a target. It's wrong, but it's a fact.

It's true. Hopefully he comes out of this, mainly for his sake than the team's. As much as we talk about how much Boston lost a good player, Marc Savard lost a career.
