I had no idea the Royals climbed back above .500. I thought they were about 3-5 games below.

I had no idea the Royals climbed back above .500. I thought they were about 3-5 games below.

Today was the first day I look at the Standings all year. It kind of shocked me.

They've had an 8-game winning streak, but only gained one game in the standings because the Tigers and Indians have been equally hot.

Not a lot of dead weight on either bandwagon. If you were a fan back when they were winning, and have remained so, then you can consider yourself a great fan of that club, for sure. Anyone can love a winner, but it takes a special person to live through years of losing.
