Does Bedard get his first win? Does he get any run support? Can he go 7 innings? Can we get a hit from Pedro?
Let's go Bucs!

Why are we so bad?
Because I live in Tucson, I can't watch the Arizona series on my mlb.tv account. I got this thing because I don't have cable, darn it!
They cannot hit to save their lives. As a team through ten games, the Bucs rank dead last in average, on base percentage, slugging percentage and OPS.
They had an opportunity to put the screws into Arizona in the first inning, and all they could do was scratch out one measly run. Cutch is the only bat in the lineup that is doing anything. Presley is doing all right, too.... but that's it. Two guys
edit: Mcgehee is showing signs of life....
Garrett MotherFucker Jones had a heck of a game.
1. Marte CF
2. McCutchen LF
3. Walker 2B
4. Jones RF
5. McGehee 3B
6. Hague 1B
7. Navarro - SS
8. McKenry - C
That's what I'd like to see a hell of a lot more of.
Then in a few years maybe - if everything comes up roses:
1. Marte - CF
2. McCutchen - LF
3. Bell - RF
4. An alternate universe version of Alvarez that actually mashes the ball - 3B
5. Dickerson - 1B
6. Walker - 2B
7. Sanchez - C
8. Alen Hanson (pray for it!)
No I'm not really high on Dickerson. I think there's a decent chance that he'll be a competent 1B for us at some point in the near future. I am hoping for an OPS in the .800s and splits close enough that we don't feel the need to platoon him.
You might notice that he was 4 for 5 tonight, but you might also notice that he doesn't have a single extra-base hit this year. He's a decent prospect but he's got a ways to go.
I wouldn't mind having Presley or Tabata around on the bench. Both know hitting, both are good defensive players, both are capable of getting hot, and both are good baserunners.
Basically, what you want from bench guys.
But they're too similar to keep both in that capacity, and Tabata's under contract, so I imagine in that scenario, they would flip Presley.
And are you as high on Dickerson as I am? I think he's going to be a pretty decent hitter down the road.
