are they afraid he will leave it out over the plate if he comes tight or at the letters.
great start though. it will be interesting to see if taillon and cole push each other positively or whether that competition wears on one or both when they are together competing for opening day starter, etc.
i guess a nice problem to have, altho i am getting ahead of things a bit.

hope mcD goes to AAA and is agreeable to being humble and learning a bit more.

However, once the Pirates are clear of that date with Cole, they better get him the hell back up here for the 2nd half.

That was one of the unluckiest innings I have ever seen a pitcher have. All ground balls, most of them soft, but two errors and some other bad defensive plays which may not be recorded as errors.

Efficient third for Morton, and the Bucs have started to chip away a little bit. We look to be on Blanton today. A Sanchez and Snider each hit the ball pretty hard that last inning, Alvarez has a home run, T. Sanchez has a double.
