This week-end, IndyCar engages in their tune-up race for the Indy 500 coming on Memorial Day week-end. The circuit is a 2.439-miles, 14-turn road course which incorporates portions of Turns 1 and 2 and the front-straightaway of the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval. The remainder of the circuit is within the infield, allowing for great spectator viewing. This is always a fun race that many of the drivers do not take real seriously but use it as a test race to prepare for the 500 two weeks later.

Power takes the pole in the Indy 500 tune-up infield race tomorrow. Palou is second, followed by Newgarden, Daly and O'Ward.

I'll go with Power, Newgarden, Palou, and O'Ward for tomorrow's race.

O'Ward spins into his teammate. Power is the only one left we picked at the halfway point.

With tha way this race has gone Montoya and the fake champ might get top 10s.

Race was enjoyable to watch, but not what I would call racing because of the weather.

Colton Herta wins one of the wildest races in recent NTT INDYCAR SERIES history, controlling the chaos of changing weather conditions, ever-evolving tire strategies and numerous incidents to take the checkered flag for the GMR Grand Prix on Saturday on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

Herta earned his first NTT INDYCAR SERIES victory of the season and the first for a Honda-powered driver in the No. 26 Gainbridge Honda when the race ended under caution. Simon Pagenaud finished second, with NTT P1 Award winner Will Power placing third.

Marcus Ericsson finished fourth, with Conor Daly rounding out the top five.

So Herta wins it followed by Pagenaud, Power, and Ericsson.
