Webber pips Vettel for the Pole. - But he's notoriously bad at the standing starts!

And yet, Seb supposedly had KERS issues this morning.

So who get the better launch when the red lights go out? And, if it's Mark, does he play the 'good teammate' & let Seb clinch his 4th consecutive WDC (Alonso would have to finish 9th or worse)?

I'm going to go with "Webber" & "no".

I'm saying that Vettel parks it along the side of the track with a mechanical issue at some point after the half-way point.

I agree, the odds are against it, but I think Webber does get a good start, Vettel follows him, ignores multi 21, but still cannot get around Webber for the win.

I set my VCR to record the GP last night, but woke up this morning only to find that I had about three hours worth of a frozen screen shot of some BMX rider (I'm assuming, based on his helmet) being interviewed.

Anybody else have similar issues with NBCSN?

I'll watch the 'rebroadcast' (assuming that there actually is one!) this afternoon & then tally our scores.

Well, that sure didn't work out the way that I had hoped it would!

I really thought that Webber had a chance, all the way up to about 6 laps to go.

Here's how we did:

Retroram52: 8 points - picked Vettel for 1st, Webber for 2nd.
bored at work: 4 points - got Vettel & Webber out of position, picked Grosjean for 3rd.
fastforward: 3 points - got Webber out of position, picked Grosjean for 3rd
IndyAndy: 1 point - got Webber out of position

Makin' a comeback heading into the final couple of races. I don't know if I can make up any ground on you Indy or bored at work. We shall see.

That was a bit disappointing. Did Vettel just make the 2 stop strategy work? Or did Red Bull screw Webber again? I would have thought with Vettel on the verge of clinching, that they would allow Webber to have a chance at a fair fight, but maybe not.

I suspect that Webber's 'luck' will get a lot better after Vettel clinches.

... Not that it will look suspicious or anything.
