I know it is still very early in the season but when it comes time for the mlb pick em playoff and we give everyone seeds and u go head to head against a member. Would you guys like the seedings to be based off of who has the most wins or best winning percentage. Personally I would go with winning percentage

I'd say winning percentage. Sometimes people can't always get their pick em's for certain days, so if someone does it every single day they may get the most wins but have a very low winning percentage. Just do it like you do now. Winning percentage but you have to have a minimum amount of games chosen.

Are playoffs needed? At the end of the year you're going to have you winners...

Something like picking daily mlb games doesn't really translate to head-to-head matchups. It is a little like fantatsy baseball where the entire season counts, as you accumulate stats.

At the end of the year, whoever has the most wins can be a winner, and whoever has the best percentage can be a winner. If you're in third by .05 percentage points, you're going to want that final week to try to catch the guy in front of you...

I guess if it were a separate bracket game, it could be interesting....

I don't think we need a playoff, but if y'all want one might I suggest.

Keep the WinPer the same and just announce a winner at the end of the year.

Take the top 8 in wins with three weeks to go and reset the stats.
After the first week the top 4 advance and have the stats reset.
After the second week the top 2 advance and reset.
The final is H2H between those two.
Any ties go to the one with the most "regular" season wins.


That way the person leading WinPer keeps picking instead of sitting out the last month and going catch me if you can. Also it rewards the people that have been playing all year, without a penalty for something like what happened to Arizona Sting today.



The only problem I see with this is we have two winners one in each. Right now I just took the lead in straight wins only because I have picked every game where nobody else has. If we do not have a playoffs then the final should come from WinPer IMO.

I agree winper is the way to go. But I would like to see a playoff with a few weeks to go. We seed everyone based on there winning percentage. Then do it weekly with the highest seed going head to head against the lowest seed and so forth. Until we have a winner at the end
