This guy is going to be a HUGE fan favorite in DC. Personality for miles.

I just read the same thing on reign of troy. Cravens is A good kid and intense player. I'll be pulling for him to have success in Washington. And I thought the Skins had one of the top drafts cali :suds:

Thanks @clarkson23devils :suds: Really liked our draft as well. We are a younger and better team. And appreciate your insight from watching him at USC.

Any time cali i actually watch more college football than NFL. But I'm liking what the raiders did. Just read the raiders signed Greg Townsend jr from SC as an underrated free agent. Made me A little nostalgic. Cravens was on my board he's explosive on the line and very strong in coverage. He plays A lot bigger than his size. Don't forget he played in the PAC a very offense oriented conference. Played A pivotal role in wins vs teams like Cal where he gave Goff fits. I can see him adjusting to the NFL fast. He played a very similar game to palamalu while at SC. If he developed the same you may have gold

Just watched some good film on this guy and it's eerie how much he resembles ST on the field, and by that I mean in the manner he attacks the guy with the ball and positions himself to make a play on the ball when in coverage. The thing that I admired about S. Taylor was that he always seemed to play as if someone had to pay because he was insulted that the opposition dared to come his way. Su’a Cravens comes as close as any that I've seen since. Looks like the team has already decided to play him at Safety (He's gonna wear 36) and that too lends a sense of deja vu to this pick.

All said, I'm not fooling myself into believing that he is the second coming, however, if he can give this team half of what ST did in his brief time here, this pick could turn out to be the best of the bunch!!

I have seen him play for the last two years and I have become a huge fan. I was politicking for this pick, months, ago, as evidence of my post in January. I did say that Karl Joseph's game modeled Sean's, but he looked more like Bob Sanders 2.0. Many compared Su'a to the next Troy Polamalu. I disagreed because Troy was faster and had a kamikaze kind of style. Su'a's game reminds me more of Sean Taylor because of their height and size, the way they play the LOS, hands to pick off passes, tackling and the ability to deliver hard hits. They almost run the same. I got so caught up with believing Karl Joseph would be our pick, I forgot about Su'a, even more so, when the Raiders took Joseph. Then, in the 2nd round, when Ken Harvey announced the pick, I just clapped. I was so happy. It's been a while, since I was so elated with a pick. I'm a fan of the Josh Doctson pick, but the pick of Su'a Cravens is my favorite, among the class of 2016. Somehow, I believe he's gonna be a special player. Not quite, as special, as Sean, but I believe we may have finally found a legitimate presence at the safety position. Btw, I had a haunch he was gonna choose #36. First, it was available. Second, he couldn't wear #21. Three, Sean wore #36 in his rookie season, so it was close enough.

Thanks dude, Kinda glad it wasn't joseph and that Cravens was. As of this moment, you're not alone in your admiration of this guy. Maybe there a future scouting gig in your future!!

I am, too. Primarily because of the medical stuff with Joseph. Yeah! I know I'm not alone with my admiration for Su'a. In fact, Scot McGloughan likes him a lot, too. I was watching his press conferences via Redskins website. On one, they brought up Su'a's name and Scot smiled and began to happily talk about him. That says a lot, right there. Oh! Thanks for the compliment! I try. LOL You know! I usually don't get amped for preseason games, but I cannot wait to see the Redskins come to Atlanta on 8/11. I look so forward to seeing this draft class play. Obviously, the vets won't play, much. That's fine by me. Doctson, Cravens, and Keith Marshall are the ones I can't wait to see, among the group of draftees. Keith Marshall is another pick that I love. I saw him, more than any other draftee for obvious reasons.

Agreed! Like I said, this is my favorite pick of the draft. And, yes! He is definitely embracing Washington. I saw some tweets, where he walked from Georgetown to the White House. Then, he's asking about some good, local barbers and other various things in the DMW.

It IS! Smh I saw this, not too long after seeing Georgetown on Google Maps, as I was mapping out distances for my fiancée and I of every significant landmark in D.C. Of course, we'll partake in a first visit to FedEx field when RGIII and the Browns come to town, as well. I'm wondering about the parking because it doesn't seem to have makeshift parking, like what's surrounding the Georgia Dome.

If he really meant Georgetown to Capitol Hill, that's about three miles. Otherwise, it's about seven miles. Maybe he's really in shape and made that trek.

There are tour buses in the city that you pa one time for but can jump on and off all day long so you can see the sights.

Fed Ex has parking but the traffic is horrendous.

The parking at the Georgia Dome is an atrocity. Better to take MARTA instead.

I'm :pound:! I know that because I live in the Atlanta-Metro area and have been to several Falcons games. Take a guess, who the Falcons played on my last visit to the dome. If you looked at my post, I was wondering about FedEx Field parking because I've never been to a game out there.
