But Shark, if you always go for needs, that can cause for you to reach for players, which does no good.

IM never a fan of reaching for needs. But you also cant completely ignore them. Or lets look at it this way, do you think an over rated Robinson, or ANY of the D-lineman who have been picked so far, would give us LESS production than the below average crew we have on the D-line at the moment??

Agreed, but the Skins aren't going to fix their roster with just 1st round picks. We have to believe in the system and the man drafting.

If it makes you feel better, guys like Geno Atkins (4th round), Jurrell Casey (3rd round), Michael Bennett (UDFA) all made the Pro Bowl and weren't 1st or 2nd round picks. It's not the end of the draft and the Skins roster is far from being a finished product

As I told my son, I dont want us to take a D-lineman that gets the start because the rest of the roster is crap. We tried that with Rambo.

Rounds 4-7 is where Scot truly shines. We are not even at our 3rd pick. He's going to set us up right.

So it's all FAs or 1st/2nd rounders for you as starters eh? You must have loved it when Danny was running the show. How'd that work out?

So would any of these overrated prospects do better than our below average guys? Cravens will likely be more productive than what we had.

Im actually against spending money on Free agents at certain positions. D-line in particular.

As i have been saying... when we had one of the worst rushing defenses in the league, I just feel that bringing in backup/rotational players to add to our backup rotational players might make one question the direction a little.

I get it. Got to put some faith in SM. If they walk out of this draft with zero DL additions, I'll be there with you questioning it.

Again dude, in a bubble, I think we are rocking it with both picks.

But you cant view it in a bubble. To say our D-line is OK so we can ignore it in both FA and the draft is a bit of a stretch.

Aside from Baker our D-line sucks at present. And Baker is 2nd tier if we are being honest.

Sorry man, I just was hoping we would come out of this draft with some D-lineman we could EXPECT to make an impact rather than a couple of late round guys we HOPE can make an impact two years from now.

If there were two players I did not want to see in Dallas, it was Zeke and Ramsey. And when you add in that our D-line has gotten worse than it was last year... yea it does bother me a little.

There were very few, if any, impact DL in this draft.

Impact is relative to the team a guy goes to. Most of the guys who have been picked would have been a beter impact and a better option for this team than Paea, And Goldston dontcha think?
