Not even reasonable. If that were the case, teams would have been clamoring for your DL. This is exactly what you complain about with Dean.
Sorry dude, but a couple of teams reached in the first round.. we both know this.
Our GM Gambled that he could get the WR in the first and a starting caliber DL would be there for us in the second. We came up snake eyes on the DL pick. And from there went best player available.
Im actually glad they didnt reach for a billings or one of the 2nd tier D-line when all is said and done.
IN the end, we got better at WR, DB, and ILB... but our D-line remains a joke. IM not saying any of the first tree were bad picks from a talent point of view. But to say you totally ignore need when you have a huge glaring space station sized hole in a critical area is questionable.
Funny that every one who seemed to scream the game is won in the trenches has now adopted the mantra that our D-line didnt suck and we will be ok.
Let me just say I officially disagree. Our line sucks. NO amount of WR or Tweener LB is going to make up for that. We better score a whole lot of points, because much like last year, we wont be able to stop any one on defense.
