I think Booker got snubbed for the All-Star game. He should have been on the team.

You're not going to make an all star team when your team is that bad though. He'll get there if the Suns can turn it around.

It sorta does though. It's not stated, but its implied. The players and coaches rarely if ever put in guys on very bad teams. You would see it with the fan voting of the starters, which is how Kobe made it his last year, but they no longer do 100% fan vote for starters now either. The worst team this year that had an all star was what, the Knicks with Porzingis? And at the time he was named, they were still in the hunt for the 8th seed before he got hurt.

I dont know I counted 6 guys who made it who are either 8th seed or not in the playoffs

I'd be curious to see how many of them were guys that were replacing someone who was hurt.

Should the teams record count in all star voting? No. In fact, I don't think it should matter in any award, including MVP.

Unfortunately, it does seem to matter.

Booker is an inefficient one way player. Nice jumper, but not much else.

He's a good talent, got to wonder how much longer he stays with a poor Phoenix team.

I guess that stands for the Clippers and Lakers also.

A good talent? He has multiple scoring titles potential.

The Suns are 23 game under .500

Coaches are not going to vote in a player as a reserve for a team 23 games under .500

What point are you getting at? WildTurkey isn't some blind homer and will likely agree with you

Lol. Yep. Lakers didn't have anyone worthy. Though I pushed hard for Lou Williams for the Clippers. But again, they're not some crummy team. They can make the playoffs.

Those two teams did not have an all star present either (Just like the Suns) I was just confirming.

IT-style, allowing as many points as he scores, while shooting 43%. Volume scorer on a bad team. #8 in usage rate, 9th worst in defensive rating, while #56 in offensive rating. He has a negative off/def rating differential (106.8 - 114.0).
