Kimmo Forever
---Flyers owner Ed Snider agrees with everyone who watched the team in the playoffs: They need to find a No. 1 goalie, whether it's Sergei Bobrovsky or an outsider, and stick with him. [/I]
I have a boner

If you can't say it, you can't trade it!!
looking up and down your roster, there aren't a whole lot of options.
I assume Meszaros is untouchable. Would love to have him back in Van (he played his junior here).
Braydon Coburn maybe, but he's UFA in another year.
honestly, I don't know your prospects well enough to make any guesses there.
Carter and Carle for Schneider and a third round pick. Do it.
we can't afford another long term $5m+ player in Carter.
i like the player though - he's be a sweet fit on our 2nd line.
Question for you since you're a Canucks fan. Honestly, how good is Schneider and how good do you think he will be in the NHL?
he's the real deal. Was dominant in NCAA, took a year to become dominant in the AHL, and took a year until there was rumbling of dumping Luongo and singing this guy to a zillion year deal.
He was developed patiently, and properly. has all the skills in the world.
He WILL be a starting goalie, and he will be a good one. I would suggest he will be on the US Olympic team in 2014, too.
one quirk... he has needed a bit of adjustment period with each new level. Was VERY bad in his first few months in the AHL, and then flipped a switch to become goalie of the year in his next season. His first call-up to Vancouver, he was average at best. But again this year, he has turned a switch and just found that next level. He might have the same thing as a starter, and if that happens in Philly.... yeesh, might get ugly.
That being said, he got in 25 games this year, with number's strikingly similar to Luongo's: GAA - 2.23 (Lou was 2.11), save % of .929 (Lou was .928).
As for character, he's been a great teammate - it can't be easy backing up a guy who is signed to be #1 for the next decade. He's been great, always upbeat, good sense of humour, unflappable.
I'd like to have him but I'm afraid Philly would have to give up too much to get him.
