Howard strikes out and gets booed and rightly so.

Howard is batting .136 against lefties and Mackinon should have used Ruf as a pinch hitter with runners at 2nd and third. Another insult and putdown to Ruf. Not to mention at the expense of the team as well. Howard looked useless while swinging at air!.

Getting two power guys into the middle lineup positions to replace Howard and Brown is a top priority. This will be done in the coming year via minors/trades. Andy will fix this obvious problem. He has no choice. Only then will the team score runs on a regular basis. It won't be done this season. Fans will let it play out watching the young crew show what they can do, while losing 100 games or so. I'm content with this.
