Phillies Dodgers Gamethread Monday.

O'Sullivan VS Garcia. Dodgers are heavy favorites in this one. Phillies can make it close if the top 3 hitters
in their lineup stay hot. Without any real power threats the Phillies are lacking.

Phillies .300 hitters Hernandez, Revere, and Franco are exciting to watch, as are Galvis and Herrera who seem to be headed in that direction. Asche and Rupp are works in progress but appear to be improving. Not winning isn't that annoying for me since we don't have pitching staff designed for that and our power guys are bums. So if you have the patience, tonite's game and even rest of this year can still be enjoyable. Onward to 2016!

Revere and Cesar single, then Franco hits a 400 foot drive to center which is caught and Revere moves to third. Cesar steals 2nd.

Howard's up and he can't catch up to the fastball. 2 outs and Ruiz is up. Fly out to left. 2 LOB by the experts. 0-0.

And a few minutes later it's 2-0 LA after a triple, sac fly, and then Gonzalez homer as O'Sullivan makes his case for pitching in the All Star home run derby.

Asche singles to right. Galvis homers to right on a 2-2 pitch. 2-2 in the second.

O'Sullivan serves up a double and now the Dodgers are up 3-2. I am pretty much done. Off to the sack.

Odubel hits solo homer in the 4th. 6-3 Phils. no outs. wtf. Power's on tonite. 3 HRs.

Kendrick doubles, then a hard ground out and great play by Cesar to get the out. Ruiz interferes at the plate and Gonzalez goes to 1st. O'Sullivan lets Grandel tie it with a long homer to right. 6-6 in the 5th. Sean at 100 pitches in the 5th.
