They sent Aumont down. Good grief. Lehigh Valley is the destination.

I don't really care about the losing but it is frustrating to have to keep waiting for them to make some moves. Personally I wouldn't be surprised if Franco is the only one of those guys that ends up as part of the future, but at least tonight they are playing Asche instead of Francouer so we can find out. There's only one way to look at the Phillies. They'll be playing with half the team of the future for some time. No serious hitting improvements will happen until replacements for Utley, Howard and Ruiz arrive and mature. I think Rupp may be one of them. Asche, Franco, and Galvis just aren't enough right now. I don't want to even think about all the crummy games we'll have to watch for the next year or two.
I missed the scoring. What happened to make it 9-0, did they get a safety or something?
I'm not talking about those 2. They aren't going to bring anything in a trade anyway. I'm talking about Hamels and Papelbon. I guess that's pretty scary that I'm impatiently waiting for them to trade their good players, which could make them even worse, but it has to be done so we can see what they get back and watch those players move through the systemI don't see Utley or even Howard being moved. We'll be seeing these guys for the rest of the year. The team is dead.
The Cards got a TD and a FG. We... ...never showed up-AGAIN. And jvett, you want to know where there getting these stiffs? Braindead goes dumpster diving because that is the ONLY thing that frikin' putz knows how to do!

I agree, I'm just getting impatient waiting for that day. Right now you can't say Utley is "blocking" anyone because they don't have anyone ready to come in and play the infield in the majors (although Crawford is moving up quickly). I'm looking forward to the day we have some better prospects in the minors so I can at least imagine what the future team will be like.Yeah, I know. We'll get some good prospects for Hamels and Paps but Howard and Utley will remain in the lineup holding up future progress and they won't bench this high priced help. Things may happen next month, hopefully.
