If he’s so into analytics, he’ll never let Velasquez throw another pitch as a starter. Dude is so obviously bullpen material.I get that Kapler is big on the analytics, and he thinks the BP is a strength for the Phillies, but at this pace, the Phillies' pen will be wore down before June.
Granted, the rest of our rotation depth is pretty shallow, but nearly anyone is better than Velasquez. Also, Preston Tucker has been annoying as fuck this series. He’s seen like 10 pitches per plate appearance it feels like
