Defense was terrible in this game - I know Steve Mason let in some goals but my goodness the defense was awful - Mark Streit was fucking horrific

Just a sloppy game defensively for both teams with probably 5-6 momentum swings and Clarke MacArthur must be the luckiest fucking hockey player on the planet. The guy could probably win the lottery to become a millionaire if he weren't already one. Even when he drives the net and misses the puck, it hits him and goes in. 11 goals and 25 points in 30 games? I'm sorry, but he's not that offensively gifted of a player.

It's tough to "lose" a game that we led twice including entering the third, but it was a valuable point that we salvaged late, so it was not a total loss. I bet we win that game if the shootout attempt by Couturier hits the crossbar and deflects in. G needs to simplify his shootout/breakaway chances. He just ends up deking so much that he's suddenly wide of the net and can't even get a shot off. He is trying too hard.
