What about the Devils, Nasty, is Disco Dan going to join Ray Shero in Newark?

Scott Hannan is helping end the drought in California by drooling all over the prospect of playing 20 minutes a night for him

I've heard rumors of Disco and the Pens AHL coach. Shero will probably stick with what he knows. I'm not sure a flashy name is the best fit for a team that will not be competing for another year or 2. Get someone in there that knows how to coach youth and then get the flashy name in a few years.

Unfortunately for the Sharks they do not have enough players that are hungry enough to want a Stanley Cup. They do not have anyone to match the intensity of Getzlaf and Perry or Toews and Kane in the playoffs. The Sharks came close to the finals a couple of times but did not have the drive to get it done. Thornton and Marleau are content to enjoy their low key Norcal lifestyle without any media or fan base scrutiny while they collect their large salaries. Perhaps once Thornton and Marleau retire, are traded or leave via free agency the Sharks will be tougher once the playoffs start.

It doesn't matter who the coach is. As long as Wilson is the GM the Sharks will continue to fall short.

DeBoer is believed to have agreed to a 4 year contract with the Sharks.

Yikes, four years?

Four years should be enough time to run this team into the ground, chase off or trade the vets and start the rebuild. Then can his ass and bring in someone to coach up the kids.

Just to follow-up on the Disco Dan discussion, it's believed he's interviewing for the Sabres head coaching vacancy.

John Scott is a vet - he should be getting third line minutes and garbage time on the pp at a minimum now.

That's the first I've heard of anything like that.

They only got half the story correct - game 7 is a loser leaves town match. Either Q or Gabby will be the Sabres next coach.

That is enough incentive to make either coach lace 'em up for Game 7.

Boudreau already has got the orange spray tan going and will be applying the body grease for game 7 for the authentic old school wwf look
