Perfect picture on Gabbert hit

You can clearly see the difference between Gabbert standing and then Gabbert cowering down to create the helmet to helmet contact. Osbourne stays on the same level and Gabbert goes down at least a foot.

Here's yet another camera angle. I found this at another site by another poster. I'm mostly copying what I read since I can't get a link location to the post.....

First shot - Osborne is entering picture at right. Notice height of each player.

Assuming the camera maintains its position, check out the height of Gabbert’s helmet as he is surveilling the field. It is just below the bottom of the white banner in the distance. Osborne is just starting to come into the frame, and Gabbert is just starting to see him coming. Osborne’s helmet is well below Gabbert’s helmet, somewhere between his shoulder and elbow.

In that frame, Gabbert sees Osborne coming and begins to go into “self-preservation” mode – he ducks. Osborne’s helmet level never changes, he is aiming for mid chest, a text book form tackle.

Just before impact, Gabbert is “getting low”. Not only is he now well below the white banner in the distance, check out his thighs, they are almost parallel to the ground, like he is doing a squat. Again, Osborne’s helmet level never changes – he was aiming for the mid chest area. Osborne was not targeting Gabbert’s head, he was targeting his chest and Gabbert ducked into the hit.

At impact, Osborne’s knees are still bent and his toe is still on the ground, so it’s not like he stood up or launched upward into Gabbert.

First off, rep to Fumble Rooskie for his great work there......

I took your two pictures (the one right before the hit, and the one right at impact) and I took Gabbert out of the one before the hit and put him in the one on impact.

As you can see, Osborne was going to hit Gabbert directly in the chest.

You can't get any better proof than this right here!

If he actually checked his 200,000 emails from all the Husker fans I would........I'm not sure exactly how to get this out so people can see it and ultimately he can see it. Need to make a website or somethin.
