Well, this is just a little bit interesting. Washington, D.C. sports reporter Dianna Russini is reporting the San Francisco 49ers could be trying to get into the Percy Harvin sweepstakes. There was a sense that Harvin was going to reunite with Rex Ryan up in Buffalo, but apparently that is not quite so settled.

This would be interesting to say the least. Harvin is a unique talent who can be quite the game-breaker. He can provide big plays in the return game, passing game, and even in the trick play run game. There is no denying any of that. Of course, a team also has to deal with his fairly fragile physical nature, and then the personality conflicts that have followed him at times.

Hell no. As it is, the team is losing several veteran leaders and has a new coaching staff. Old vets will be replaced by young players. The last thing this team needs is a head case and new trouble in the locker room.

At the right price I wouldn't of hated him coming here. He would of been like the 4th WR. I would of looked at this move as us getting a good PR/KR guy. We haven't had a good PR this Ginn. Kyle Williams and LaMichael James werent very good. Now I haven't been impressed with Ellington.

I understand the allure with all his talent. Can deal with the injury potential for the right price. But he could become a locker room cancer and that is a big risk on a team that lost significant veteran leadership. It had to be bad for Seattle to dump.him midseason and now he is on his third team.

The guy's a cancer and is injury prone. Not worth it. I'm glad someone else picked him up.

Don't think he actually signed yet. There's still hope. Take him away! Take him!

Signed with the Bills. I wouldn't mind landing him but if we did I think We don't draft WR in the draft.

he did sign with the Bills. You have Roman as a coach. That is a big enough curse. Hopefully Roman isn't in charge of play calling or making half time adjustments

Ink has not yet met the paper. They have agreed to a contract. There's still hope.

As for Roman. Were you complaining about him in the Super bowl? Or the year before in the NFC Title game?

There's no Harbaugh here, we won't be using our QB as much as Kap was over used last year. Ground and pound and great D.

Yes, many 49er fans have been complaining about Roman for several years, including play calling in the Super Bowl. True, no Harbaugh and some off our offensive issues can be traced back to Harbaugh. From what I've heard, Roman's role in Buffalos offense will be more limited. Kaep was responsible for some issues to. But if you look at 49er offensive production, it was good in the first half of games and then tank in the second half of games. The 49ers were bad at second half adjustments and that goes right to the feet of Roman

Well if I'm complaining about his play calling in the playoffs let alone the SB, I can live with that for now.
