The people that say Romo had a bad game and choked because of the last play are so fucking stupid.

So with that logic, if they were losing at home to Jacksonville 10-6 and Romo had 0 touchdowns and 5 interceptions but he led them to a 5 yard TD pass after Gabbert threw an INT to the 5... it would be a good game?

So stupid.

It's sad that people ignore stats and get caught up in narratives. You'd think people would have stopped watching E!SPN years ago.

Fact of the matter is, Romo tried to squeeze a pass in which clearly seems ill-advised looking back, yes, he had a better option, he did not have to force the throw, it was clearly a poor decision in hindsight and some would view it as a choke, but to pretend that Dallas didn't put up a show on offense is absurd. When your defense gives up 35+ you generally lose most of the time ( I say that in the nicest way possible). To give up 48 prior to the INT? Inexcusable, not even close to justifiable in any way. Get off of Romo this week, he made the biggest mistake on the biggest stage, but the dirty work behind the stage did the 'Boys in.

I think you may be confused about the role of the defense in this sport.

I'm a Steelers fan, honey.

I KNOW the role of defense. It's the reason we have 6 Lombardi's. Did you know that since 1970 the Steelers defense has ranked 7th?

The Broncos offense has put up 40+ in every game this year so far, so it's logical to say when they did so against the 'Boys, it's par for the course.

Had the 'Boys given up 51 to the Raiders or Jags - you'd have a case.

This one was on Romo.

Shhh!! Don't try to use logic. People often try to make these arguments out of blind hatred. Don't you know that the QB is the only guy on the team required to play perfectly? And if his defense gives up 51 points, then he's a choker if he only puts up 48 with an INT in the 4th quarter.

All he had to do was come up with a drive that gave them a FG to tie. With the game on the line he threw yet another pick.

He choked.

Not at all. Plus his foot was hit when he was trying to step into the throw. Who gets credit for bringing the Cowboys back when it looked like they were dead at 35-20, having been outscored 35-3 since the first quarter?

No issues with Garrett not realizing the Broncos could run out the clock with a first down at the one? If that's Bellichick on the sideline he let's them score with over a minute left to get a chance to tie.

You dont get credit for making a game close unless you can win the game!!!

i love the fact that a rookie QB can lead his team down the field for a win, but Romo can't and the lose isn't his fault.

I don't get all these Romo apologists. The guy chokes when the game is on the line. There is no disputing that. Who cares about stats when the only stat that matters is wins and losses. I would rather have a QB that throws for 150 with a couple of pics if he manufactures winning drives.
