Staal can't come back soon enough. I think people forget he had netted 15 before he went out. Jordan creates a lot too for those secondary scorers. He is sorely missed.

Terrible night for the zebras, okay night for Beej (no idea what he was trying to do on that goal though, no clue), our D still gave up some pretty bad defensive zone turnovers, it's becoming a habit. All in all, need some scoring outside of #1 line.

I'm not gonna get on Brent's case too much. All in all, he played a fantastic game. Was real concerned about what his performance was going to look like, and he exceeded expectations, Johnny just got no offensive support.

I mean he played well enough to win, and that's all you can ask from a goalie, starter or backup. You'll never (well, rarely with the SO) win a game with 0 goals.

After watching guys like Jeffrey, Park and Vitale work, tonight... I may yet see why Shero went after O'Reilly. DJ just hasn't shown that spark he had prior to his injury, last season, plus Vitale and Park are very redundant in the lineup at the same time. Although, there's no guarantee O'Reilly is going to add anything, either.
