A whole lotta nuthin' that first period. Pens with a PP, Leafs with a PP. Not a lot of good looks for either. Overall, seemed unsure of each other. Sutter line with a few good shifts, that last minute was close with Sid on there.

LETS GO PENS!

Yeah, Flower came up large tonight. He is so darn good at breakaway/shoot out situations. Just never see him sweat when it comes to those tough spots.

Pens played a complete game. Just no quit in them right now

His numbers aren't that good this year, but I think he's played very well. There aren't many goalies who could post truly dominant numbers behind a defense which routinely gives up uncontested chances right on the doorstep like ours does. MAF has bailed the Penguins out more than a few times so far this season.

The amount of goals that have been guys wide open in the slot have been ridiculous.

If you narrow that down to just goals scored by guys wide open with their skates right on top of the crease, the number is still ridiculous.

I'm patiently waiting for the payoff with Bylsma's approach of not playing Fleury until he's burnt out. I think this might pay dividends down the road... Provided that Vokoun continues to play like he has in his last two appearances.

Vokoun's been largely frustrating, but the team is scoring like crazy, and we can absorb some poor performances, so keeping Fleury fresh is a very smart move.

If the Flyers aren't making the playoffs, there's no way in hell the Leafs should. :)

...so thank you, Pittsburgh

Wow. MAF man. And that Sid pass. Man.

Sidney Crosby is the best player in the game this season, but that pass is one I've made many, many times. I'd be lucky to record more than 5 points in an ECHL season.

Get it to the weak side post and if your linemates have any hockey sense, one of them should be there. Sid just did the right thing quickly and had the vision to see that the lane was open.

Slightly above average play for a first liner.

Run-of-the-mill for Crosby.
