What the hell?? National rankings, bragging rites, and all of the comparison SportsHoopla that goes with. Do you three dudes think about anything past the obvious?

But seriously, sure they are in contention or even a lock for a January 1 six bowl bid. They've done that many times. The one contest that they haven't yet participated in still eludes the program. And they never will with the current format as the format changes next year.

We are number 3 .... not a bad place if you get to be number 2 or number 1 occasionally. 4-16. But otherwise a good year.

I loved Manny's high risk high reward defense. I imagine he is taking some of his assistants. The defense was the fun part of watching the team the last couple of years.
