Haskins doesn't have an offer, staff likes Zembiec, Guantanamo and McLwain far better

I don't know if they like the others far better. The others camped and threw for the staff, thus they earned offers.

They do, They've seen Haskins and prefer the others. I think Zembiec is top choice right now

Well, he apparently impressed at their camp against live competition because the staff loves this kid. His twitter makes it look like he's ready to pull trigger....if he already hasn't and just not yet announced.

He says good things about PSU on twitter all the time. I think we have a really good shot at him. Would be a nice pickup.

Hopefully we can make an impression on Diggs. I know he was high on us, but I feel like he's gonna be really tough to pull from Maryland, him and his brother are really close

His brother is apparently advising him to go elsewhere, get away from home. That all said, we are most likely only taking 1 WR next year, 2 tops, so we'll be very selective.

Winning and stability that comes with is an instance draw for talent. Rid the school of all the past skeletons and that helps too. I was at Penn State from 1996 to 2004 and know all about the "rumors" that circulate amongst recruiters and their talent targets. The situation is clearing and thus the school is beginning to see an influx of talent again.

We have coaches who aren't lazy or too old who get out on the road and recruit, thus the influx of talent. I love Joe, but he couldn't get out and recruit for years and kept some lazy coaches on staff who couldn't pull their weight either. O'Brien's staff ramped it up, but this staff is off teh charts

Yep, that is correcto mondo, LBU. When Joe passed, the Sandusky thing was laid to rest, the AD was removed, and the infrastructure of lazy coaches was blown up by O'Brien, the enviroment changed in Happy Valley regarding the status quo. At the end there, PSU was getting hammered by other schools for recruits. Like you have correctly stated, with the new era of O'Brien and his coaches, the climate is being cleansed of that entrenched mentality from the Paterno influence. It is good to see and the results are obvious. This shall be an interesting year.

Urquidez looked like he enjoyed himself as well. Shane Simmons mother posted a pic of them singing the alma mater together after the game.

He'd be a nice get for sure. Having a a class with him and Menet as the OT would be great
