I have a question for you losers:eek:

Which possible scenario has you a little worried

A- Facing the Habs who have a goaltender playing lights out, A real gritty team that is playing well on both ends of the ice, and who will have just eliminated the #1 seed so they will have tons of confidence.

B- Playing the Bruins who have also gained some confidence, add the fact that Savard will be back. I think the Pens would beat the Bruins in 6 games but it could get really ugly quick and not sure wether the Pens star players would come out unscathed.

Both match ups will be very interesting to watch.:D

I'd rather play the Canadians because I think Boston is a much better team and then add in Savard coming back. Last year Cam Ward was playing well coming into the Pens series and the Penguins tore him apart. If the Caps lose, the scariest team remaining for the Pens is the Flyers IMO.

I would rather play Boston, but I think they can beat either team. Hot goalies are not to be messed with.

Honestly, Penguins have proved that they can be physical in a series, and the PP is going well enough at the moment that they can make teams pay for dumb penalties on the scoreboard. They're not going to be scared of Boston gooning it up, and I'm pretty sure there will be talk in the Bruins locker room about beating the Pens where it counts. Additionally, the Bruins had their game to exact revenge; they didn't really do anything.

I said it before, my fear of the Savard factor retribution taking out one of our star players trumps any hot goaltender issue.

And to Loki, I don't need to mention the difference of the regular season intensity compared to the playoffs, plus the added emotional element of Savard's return against the team that knocked him out.

Im confident that in either situation the Pens can come out with a win. They finally started playing like they can and I now feel real good about their chances.

I definitely think it can/will be a mental boost for the Bruins; I just don't see them gooning it up. Really, I don't. They didn't do it for the regular season, and while the playoffs have added emotion, it would also be a lot easier to take a misconduct/suspension for a couple regular season games than to miss playoff games.

I also think it's the more intriguing series.

But at this point, how much I care who we play is very little.

i aint scared.

but, if i had a choice, I would rather play the habs. Never miss an opportunity to play a team that has Hal Gill on their shut down pairing.

Now that would probably be the last thing I would be worried about. You know he won't show up for 2 series in a row, it's not in his contract!

I don't really care who they play. I think the Bruins match up with the Pens a little better than the Canadians do though.

Either way if the Pens Win the next series i would hope for a Pens - Caps or Pens - Flyers series. They are just so much fun to watch.

I'd rather face the Habs. The reason has nothing to do with goaltending or Savard's return, I just think of Boston as the more talented team.

Would rather play the Habs. Halak has been great against Washington, but they also made him look better by firing shots without any traffic in front. Notice how Washington gets goals when they bump him a bit, when it gets a little chaotic in front? Those are the type of goals Pittsburgh can score, especially come playoff time. Also, Crosby loves playing against Montreal.

As for Boston... Crosby and Malkin are both pretty savvy, then are pretty good at avoiding the big hits. But you can't do anything about cheap shots, and I'd be a little worried that one of the Bruins goes overboard. And you hate playing against former players you let go (Satan) as they always seem to burn you.

Also, if we play the Habs, it means Washington lost, and I'd definitely prefer that!

Nothing scares me at this point. The Devils were the only team that scared me.

I didn't think about that. Good point.

I really don't think this team can go wrong now that the Devils are out.

It would be foolish not to want the #8 seed. So I will take the Habs. That only leaves teams the Pens have played well against during the season. I am not certain but I think the Pens have only lost 3 times total to the three teams left in the East.
