Or it could also be the coaches who are getting too conservative in the 2nd half. 3rd and goal running plays from that far out usually ain't gonna cut it.

3 up-the-gut running plays in the red zone when the Bears are putting 15 guys in the box is ridiculous play calling. If you don't trust Kaep throwing the ball in that situation, you should not have signed him to an extension.

I think that the coaches were expecting our pass rush and coverage to hold up!! On offense we needed more Hyde not going sideways but between the tackles!! Where was Boldin?

Disagree: if he grabs it it is a quick 7 points. As it was they were way backed up, should have worked in our favor there too.

Footballs are odd-shaped and hard to control even for "good-hands" players, and even in controlled conditions such as hand-offs and passes. A lineman, with his hands taped and with little to no ball-handling skills should not attempt to pick up the ball in that situation.

I am not sure that is accurate, per say. I think it is just that their hurry-up leaves 5 seconds on the play-clock instead of snapping the ball 3 seconds after it has already expired, which is their normal pace.
