NE has had NO talks with DMC. He had no idea who was getting tagged. NE never even called DMC to tell him he was not getting tagged (not that they had to). So take that for what it is worth. He is going to get a TON of money tossed at him from some shitty teams, his call if he wants to play for them or not. Oakland, Jax, Jets....have fun if you pick them. Could BB and DMC have a hidden handshake....IDK how his agent will feel about that. NE will have a chance. As I said before, they have to spend and spend big....BIG signing bonuses is the way to make that happen. 24m that TB12 gave back might be used for that. Not to mention NE has some contract coming of the books next yr....I think it happens...

I'm only going to say this once because it's been written at least 100 times a season since Bill Belichick took over as head coach..................

Every position and player has a Bill Belichick VALUE. He has a max value associated with a player and the position he plays and will not go above that value. After 15 years, we and thay know the value syatem in place works. How do we know that? Because the New England Patriots have constantly been in the playoffs. They've been in 6 Super Bowls and won 4. They've been to the AFCCG 8 times and won 6. As BB has said over and over, one player is not bigger than the team, no player is so important that the team cannot survive. Don't say Brady because the Patriots were 11-5 with Matt Cassell, it was a freak year and the Dolphins were freakier....

Hence........if McCourty and Revis can't be signed with the Belichick Value System, they're gone. And we all know what happens to expatriats or ex-Patriots..............they disappear into the abyss....
