Not shaping up to be a great game, but the Pats' OL is just incredible. Even when they start rookies they're just a wall. Brady's a great QB, but he has TONS of time back there. There's nothing close to pressure on him.

No QB is great without a very good offensive line. That's what always kills me when people say "if we had Brady...Rodgers....Manning...." the past few years. It wouldn't matter, we'd still have a QB getting knocked flat on his ass all game long.

It's a mixed bag. A good QB can make a mediocre OL look very good. The textbook case is Manning lately. But Brady's just sitting there surveying the field. They finally put a hit on him and, shockingly, he threw his second incompletion of the night.

On another note.......Fergie should never sing the National Anthem again. That was horrible!

Watching him throw that ball down the seasm to fasno makes me wonder why the 49ers don't try this. Henne is no better than Smith. The Niners made a lot of hay with that play last year.

"tonight" being the key word. Henne's been wildy inconsistent over his career. At least they give Henne an opportunity. When Smith has been asked to take over a game like with New Orleans, Philly and Houston last year he threw the ball very well. I've never been a big supporter of Smith's but I hope they open it up against dallas and give him a chance.

I indented before saying that for a reason; tonight has nothing to do with the FACT that Henne is a better QB than Alex Smith. Henne had a bad season last year, but it's not like he was playing the Seahawks & Rams twice. He got a double dose of the Pats & Jets.
