Another dropped ball by the Bills. If they only could have held onto it.... what could have been...

Well positive things we can take away from this game:

Blount runs with a purpose
Blount is the return man
Defense stopped the run and looked hungry to stop it!
Ridley held onto the ball.

Negatives:
The 2nd half the Patriots didn't really get pressure on the QB
Players keep on getting hurt
Offense still sucks in Red zone

I still don't think Blount stays on return if we don't have to. I'd rather him keep his energy for offense if we have the guys healthy to put someone else back there.

I think his success returning today had more to do with the fact that he was about the only guy who could find his footing on that field than with his amazing talent as a returner. We've still got 2/3 of the season as a sample on him returning kickoffs.

Great game!! A win is a win, and we got a bye. I am still scratching my head at some of the play calling, but I wont dwell on it. Blount was amazing!! We owe him a game ball, or 2. I actually think he faster than Ridley, which is surprising to me. Good game overall..Def made some good plays. Time to get healthy and wait for Cinn...

I'm not sure if he's faster than Ridley, he's definitely fast. He's maybe a bit quicker than Ridley and he's obviously a whole lot bigger and stronger. Ridley accelerates faster and is a more decisive runner. They've both had fumbling woes, to cap it off. I'd say I think Ridley is an overall better runner, but if Blount can be that physical in the playoffs, I'd love to see them give it to him to pound the ball for the first half and into the 3rd quarter every game and then put in Ridley right as the defense is getting gassed. If they can run the ball like the last two weeks, they will win games in the playoffs.

Well I have been asking this question for several weeks now, why won't the Pats use Blunt more? Playoff time coming we need to run the ball, Blount is a hammer and we have a very nice stable of running backs. There was a certain Pats fan that was stating the need for a TE is not a priority, did we even target a TE once yesterday? I see Sharon Dropson got hurt again, I have zero confidence in this pick yet. So who had the bigger year Wes with Manning or Edelman with Brady?

A nice win yesterday and much needed bye, at least we have another home game in the future.

Buffalo made the going easier by benching Dareus in the first half but Blount was the man yesterday...Belichick said it best: "Obviously the best player on the field."

LOL! First time I heard Sharon used...

I hope it's not a lisfranc injury, they can last a long time.

The run defense will be a challenge in the playoffs. They gave up 165 yards to Spiller and Jackson with a backup QB playing. The pass defense had plenty of holes too.

It will be, yes. Hopefully not a fatal one against whoever our divisional round opponent is. It may actually be to their advantage against the Broncos if the Pats make the AFCCG - the Broncos can't capitalize without taking the ball out of Manning's hands.

And then we'll go face Seattle or Carolina or whoever and they'll run right over us in the SB if we're not damn lucky.

Even one win would be better than expected, but after watching the Pats RBs run right over their last two opponents, I have more hope than I did 3 weeks ago.

The Niners O-line would worry me more than the Seahawks but I'll be hoping for snow with any of them if the Pats get to the big dance.
