Suprising. I kinda though he was the next Welker/Edelman in waiting. Insurance if Amaendola, Edelman or Boyce get hurt.

Copy that but, kinda thinking it's a bit soon as Edelman is not wrapped up yet, so that could be two short white guys gone. And Amendola is will get injured next season...

I just don't see a roster spot. Seems likely this is to give him plenty of time to find a spot elsewhere.
