Remember when FA opened there was all this chatter about no one wants to go to NE, there is no chance of winning in NE. Well, after the FA period and the draft I wonder how many players and media analysts are singing a different tune?

Media analysts singing a different tune? Fat chance! They all sing the same tune and it sounds more like a warm up routine. It goes like this: "Me, me, me, me, me, me..... Me, me, me, me, me, me.... Me, me, me, me, me, me!"

My guess is that more than a few players are saying to themselves, I wish I had given Vrabel a chance. Looks like things are beginning to turn around up there.

I don't disagree but we need to see how quick they can elevate to a winning record.

If they have a good year, let's say they get a WC birth then next year's FA period could take on an entirely different look.

NE is projected to still have plenty of cap space. So if Cambell doesn't work out at LT they can slide him into G. Then target a FA to come in who may have had reservations about coming to NE.

Same in the WR room and TE rooms. If they struggle NE could go hard in FA to upgrade a known commodity.

I only mention those positions because they were some of the biggest concerns going into this season.

You add the upgrade of the coaching staff and the renovations to the facilities and players may say that's a place I want to go now.

The ship maybe turning around. We need to have a solid season, then the future looks bright.
