He was already 3 I think knee surgeries in and will need more down the road. If he found himself a great gig that pays well and doesn't continue to tear down his body then I don't blame him for wanting to transition out of football. Heck would not shock me to see more and more players making these kind of decisions. I don't think the playing late into your 30's thing is going to be a norm for players to try and do. The more info that comes out of the damage they are doing the more they will just shut things down.

Yah, I still agree with you considering he's a punter which granted can risk injury but it's extremely rare and if anything just your leg, which you'll get full medical treatment for.
