2010- 10th (Redd, Hull, Jones, Bolden)

2006- 6th Good-Evans, Quarless, Royster, Odrick, Bowman, Maybin, Wallace. Bad for us-Logan-El, Bell, Taylor, Devlin (some went else where and did really well)
2005- 28th (D-Will, King, Clark and Lee)

Considering the program was on cruise control with 2 guys doing almost all the recruiting for the last 8 years of JoePa era and BOB was under sanctions, we did pretty well. Franklin will be top 15-top 10 type classes regularly....he really carries himself as far as recruiting and his tireless energy as a young Joe.

Amen. PSU could have had top 5 classes last 15 years under Joe Pa if he really recruited. Paterno got lazy/old and relied on his assistances to do the in home visits which cost us lots of recruits. Franklin should be pulling in top 15 or better classes depending on PA, MD, NJ, DC talent for the year.

Problem is, half his staff got old with him and were useless in recrutiing. LJ and Bradley kept it afloat. Kids hated Jay, Galen didn't recruit, Kenney did some, Anderson, none, Vandy was an average recruiter at bestJoe quit doing visits. Its amazing we landed the guys we did.

Joe was the best salesman in the business when he was younger and that's why we were so good then. After mid 90's, he became less and less active. Franklin brings his type of energy back and with the PSU brand to sell, with all it has to offer, he will kill it on recruiting trail
