It was horrible I can not for the life of me see why it won anything.. the plot was ok but ffs it was all in Korean and sub titles suck.. I wouldnt waste one penny on seeing it

It’s very good. Solid social commentary without being hammy or pandering. Well acted and directed. Compelling.

It was horrible! The story line was good.. the twist at the end was unexpected but left you wondering wth.. but really the acting wasn't oscar winning.. I thought a couple of times they were just trying to make it work.. they didn't seem like an actual family..

The whole awards show (that I planned on not watching but did) was a lot of PC moaning about too many white men & too many white people & then voila! Lo & Behold, The Korean pic wins best pic twice! How woke!

The acting was worse than a third grade play. When they first showed the dead body in the basement, I said to wife, "That's the housekeeper's husband." She got pissed at me and told me to go into my office. After the movie was over she asked me how I knew since I had only watched about 5 minutes. I said that script was was so bad that everything was easy to figure out.

And you knew what was going to happen at that party, right?? Or did you think that the movie was going to have an "All in the Family" ending??

I mean, it's a Korean movie so yeah, it's gonna be in Korean. No different from when non-English speaking countries watch English movies with sub-titles in the local language. Sub-titles aren't a distraction once you get use to them and it doesn't take long to pick up the flow of taking in the movie while reading. There's plenty of movies to be enjoyed with sub titles. The Seventh Seal is an all time classic but it doesn't suck because its in Swedish with English subtitles.

It was not a good movie .. it was OK at best if you look away for one second you will miss something.. the acting was still kinda meh.. to me it looks forced and not natural.. that makes it difficult

she got distracted because someone ELSE walked in front of her for 2 seconds and she lost the storyline.

they should have just did the whole movie in American, dammit!
