I'm So High Right Now
Another game that the Sabres desperately need to win in order to close the gap on the Rangers and Habs, and also put some distance between them and the Canes and Leafs. Yeah the Leafs, seriously.
The Sabres are coming off a huge win in Montreal, as they put u a 3-0 shutout. The Panthers are coming into this game having been shutout the past 2 games in New York and Chicago. The Panthers have not scored a goal in 2 hours 11 minutes and 24 seconds of ice time now. (I think I saw another thread talking about that?)
Those past 2 games for the Panthers were without their goal and points leader, Stephen Weiss, and it looks as if he will be doubtful for tonight's game as well.
This is a game that the Sabres can, and should win, but they have had troubles with the Panthers in the 3 games they played against them so far in the season. The Panthers won the first 2 games, scoring 6 and 4 goals before losing the 3rd game in OT 3-2.
Sabres really need to stick with whatever they did against the Habs tonight and pick up those 2 points.
As always, here's to a great game with no injuries.
