I have been rolling with the panthers defense for the last 4 weeks and it has been more than a pleasant surprise. I am content with getting at least 10-12 points from my defense which has happened every week so far. This week they are only projected to score two fantasy points. Do I stick with the panthers or pick up someone from the FA wire. The best available defenses are the bears, browns, colts, raiders and redskins. Any help is appreciated!

Does that list include the Texans? who've been pretty bad all year, but should have an "easy" time against a Pryor-less Raiders team. Not to mention they get the Jags in week's 12 and 14. The Panthers also have two against the Saints coming up, so it's probably not a bad idea to have a back up plan.

If not, I'd test out the Bears against a struggling Ravens' team.

Yeah, I rode them for a while, but the past few weeks I played the matchup game with other D's. Turned out the Panthers defense would have been the better option.

I would never start them vs the Saints since I own Brees and don't want to conflict, but I've seen many projections that have them as the #1 defense for the rest of the year.
