I like your beard.
As the wait for Sid's return lingers on longer and longer, my worry grows greater and greater. Now, I'm not someone who thinks "Aw, it's just a headache, he should suck it up and get back on the ice!" Far from it. I'm sure most of you all have seen one or two (or ten) of my concussion-rants before (because when you start learning far too much about them, you get touchy), and realize where I stand on that battle. So, it's not with impatience that I begin to worry, but rather through reading between the lines. **Disclaimer: This could be because of the high profile situation** Soon after learning of Sid's concussion we were given a time-table, one which has come and gone, and that wasn't surprising to me. However, soon after THAT we were told that there would be no daily updates until Sid returned to practice. Then the worry grows, because that clearly means he's still symptomatic. Then, the rumor spreads that his return is unlikely until after the All-Star Break (which is FEBRUARY FIRST). That is 2 more weeks away. Now, usually it's hard to put any type of time table out for concussions because the healing time varies from player to player...but plain and simple: if he's still 2 weeks out, then he's still having fairly consistent/significant headaches. And if that's the case, well Pens fans, brace yourself, because we're gonna be holding our breath every time he gets hit.
