That baker Meridith Compton whaley and Ankrah are incapable of getting it done. After 3years and many many starts for most of these guys they have failed to produce anything. Why don't we see Zaire Anderson David rose santos aflava.......maybe give curry or valentine a shot at dt. Knowing the defense that we are trying to run is obviously not a big advantage or bake Meridith and Compton would be getting it done. They just don't have the ability. Might as well give the young guys a chance to prove they can't get it done....most of the starting front 7 has proven they can't do it on multiple occasions.

Right now my gut reaction is it won't matter. Missed tackles is pandemic. I think there is a coaching problem. They regularly over pursue making it impossible to wrap up so they make an attempt to grab something as the player goes allowing yards after first touch almost every single time.

Cam is better suited as a inside defensive lineman, he is too slow on the outside. Look at Mingo from LSU, tall, lean, and fast. We need Dwayne Harris or Mike Rucker types at rush end. Will Compton is good at filling holes, but teams are using 4 receivers and using the running back out wide on sweeps and such. A fast linebacker is needed in these game schemes but the coaches don't see it. The use of two linebackers would have cut the field in half from sideline to sideline. What do I know tho...

Over pursuit is the least of our problems. No push by the front 4 and no speed at linebacker. The simple swig pass to the back and Compton has no chance to cover it. We look so slow with the front 7. Yes we did miss some tackles but lack of push and no speed seems to be a real problem. Get some speed in the game.
