apparently they aren't straying from the mlb board

CBS closed their message boards and a lot of the posters from over there came here. it seems they just start 1 thread and talk amongst themselves all day in that 1 thread. interesting way of doing it haha, but whatever butters their toast.

it also looks like thats going to bring some changes to the 'hoop'. we have to change servers and we're going to move to the upgraded format of vbulletin. things might get a little funky whenever HammerDown decides to do that, but we'll be able to do everything we can now, plus sum (possibly a good mobile app), once he works through the kinks.. the improvements were in the queue before the CBS people came over, but their arrival has probably pushed up the timetable

just a little warning to y'all, things might get bumpy for a day or two here soon, but we'll be back in action quick

ya, i dont know how soon any of these upgrades are coming, but i know when Ghost owned the site he set up a mobile version that was really 'bare bones', basically all you could do was read/post.. not sure why he got rid of that though

I can tell you right now that if there was a mobile app that I'd probably be on more often. As it is now, I don't post often at night/weekends.

yep.. i think that's how it is for a lot of people.. the hoop gets pretty quiet on weekends

True. I've been posting on the main board of late. I agree awaz that we need some new blood on here. I'm not to familiar w other forums or sites?
