Cal-Utah should be a good game. Utes don't really have the defensive presence to hang with Jaylen Brown, but Cal beat Utah when he had a bad game, but lost when he dominated. So I am not sure what to read into that.

I think Brandon Taylor is the wildcard here. He is very streaky, but if he is on he can kill teams.

Congrats to Utah. Pretty good game yesterday. USC made the necessary defensive adjustments and held Poeltl to 14 points (he scored 30 the last time we played them), but unfortunately, the Utes perimeter players decided to go unconscious from the perimeter and USC couldn't stop both.

Katin Reinhardt put it best after the game:

"They just kept hitting shot after shot. The only thing we could do was get a hand up and hope that they don't go in, but they were all going in."

Hopefully the pundits are right and USC punched their ticket to the tourney with the win over UCLA.

Didn't end the season very well but that UCLA win at least got us feeling like we can play well when we put it together.

I think we should be safe. I just hope we avoid Dayton. First 4 would be horseshite.

A buddy of mine said he saw a tournament preview that had USC as a 10 seed. That seems about right, imo.
