Oregon has hired coordinators as their HC for pretty much every football opening going back a long time. It hasn't helped Washington beat the Ducks.
Didn’t a former coordinator win a playoff game? Only one in this pathetic conference. ;)

He's had times when he seemed very good. Not sure if I think he's great, but he's a competent passer at least. Which considering what you were running out there...

Early signing day is going off with lots of late flips happening all over the NCAA. Also coaching hires happening as well. Busy day for the PAC.

That was the speculation for a while but I don't think there was anything to it.
Rattler is now at South Carolina, along with one of his tight ends from Oklahoma.

USC signed 5 star defensive back Domani Jackson today.

He had been committed to USC. De-committed when Helton was fired, considered Bama, then today he re-committed and signed with USC. That's a really good get.

Staff is finalized. Looks great. Now time for them all to get to work and get us moving forward again. All things considered, I think the worst is over and 2022 will be a much better year for the Dawgs.

We always thought we had a shot at flipping him from USC prior to our allegations. And then after the big USC change... There's an alternate universe where Jackson went to ASU. I think we're going to look back and see this year as a missed chance in Tempe. We were on deck for a top 5-10 class, and now we have almost nothing.

Our class has like 6 or 7 kids. The coaches changed from recruiting to portal hunting. Maybe that's the move they have to make, but this cloud of NCAA is fucking killing us. 8-4 in and of itself is a little disappointing because I think we should have at least gone 10-2. But the destruction of what I think would have been our best recruiting class in a generation is just... It fucking sucks. I guess on the brightside, we still had something like 44 freshmen on the team because of redshirts and COVID eligibility.

We'll see what the portal gives us. We still have a fairly decent roster. Lole would have been the best DL in the conference not named Thibodeaux and he's decided to come back after missing a year to injury with the intention of being "one of the best that ever played there", which would mean we wants to be in the same tier as Suggs, Jeffcoat, Sutton, etc. Some of the LBs are back, even with transfer losses we should have a decent secondary.

The WR's need to grow the fuck up though. I've never seen more drops than I did this year.

I anticipate a very active ASU in the portal though, mostly on line positions and maybe a QB who's ok being backup for a year.

Didn’t see this coming

Could be pretty good, but best case is the QB from AZ last year gets into it. Nix is kind of erratic.

Guess I have to trust the new staff. I was excited to start the Ty Thompson era. He is a 5-star kid. But maybe he isn’t ready, hence Oregon playing the mediocre Brown all year. Time will tell if this is good for the young QB’s to develop or will it result in transfers.

Yeah, we'll see. I'm scared of what happens post-Daniels. I'm not sure we even have a game ready backup at ASU if JD ever takes a big hit. He basically never comes out, even when we're up big.

On the flipside, if Daniels had a great passing year, I think he'd be gone and Rattler would be at ASU... Though I'm not sure we really want that kind of dad drama.

I think we're all in on Jaden Rashada.
