Losing Dye is kind of big as well.

Won't matter though. Couple of duck fans believe they don't have to be as good because everyone else is going to be as bad or worse than they were this year. They feel they will have it by default.
Ducks have stars in their eyes from the last two recruit classes. I get the optimism, but next year is a rebuilding year for them, not a reload, because they're simply losing way too much experience on the offensive side of the ball and will be breaking in a new OC.
Huskies have a lot of work to do as well, but Duck fans really need to come to grips with that fact that they don't have the same luxuries that programs like Bama, Ohio State, and Clemson do who have entire rosters of 4 and 5 stars from all over the country, even for their 2nd and 3rd stringers. You lose a multi-year starter at QB and that many from the OL, your going to be doing some serious rebuilding the following year. The whole "yahh man, it's just next man up" schtick doesn't apply unless your pulling in top 5 recruit classes every year.

Ducks won a Rose bowl and should just be enjoying it as it doesn't have an * next to it yet as your coach hasn't been busted buying players and having to run off to the NFL in the heat of the night with a multi season NCAA coaching ban, yet....
So for right now, you won a Rose Bowl, your not under any NCAA investigations for the FB program so it's a very legit one, and should just enjoy it, rather than yelling, "TAKE THAT WASHINGTON!!!" and cherry picking stats which seems to be the majority of what they've been doing on social media since the trophy was handed to them.

OC hires will be a biggy. Both Oregon & Washington are shopping around for an OC.

You must be talking about that long haired sissy boy pheg who cries like a gurl every time he goes in front of a camera.
You do know that men can cry right? Like emotions are real. I would bet most men in here have cried at things like getting married or having kids or their daughter getting married.

So 1 time in 2 decades gives you guys hope? And hate to break it to you but you do not have a Heisman level type player who will be playing QB.
That’s what was said in 2011 - MM was a 3 star recruit. Oregon is the favorite in the North. Just deal with it.

You Had Chip running a gimmick offense . Marriota was a perfect player for that offense. Next season you have no gimmick offense and 4 year starter at QB. I the Rose Bowl Oregon passed for 138 yards and no TDs and its highest rusher got 49 yards. If not for Wisconsin constantly coughing up the ball it would have been one of the worst offensive Rose Bowl performances in the last 20 years. And that was a senior laden offense. lol.

He won't admit he was wrong. It's nothing something he's capable of.

Laughs at the thought of USC being picked because they only had 8 wins this season and fails to understand what writers and pundits actually look at when setting up preseason evals. He believes it will be Oregon in every poll and they are going to take it easily.

That's what newer fans give you.

Yeah, I'm certainly not confident that USC will win anything next season.

But when you look at what USC has coming back compared to what Oregon is losing...it's kind of hard to follow his logic. It seems to basically boil down to..."Oregon will be ranked higher because I said so".

You're reaching...but feel free to show any POLL from the preseason that explicitly predicted Oregon winning the conference. I've shown you one...you've provided ZILCH.

If one doesn't understand how polls work (which you clearly don't), then you're right, he's provided zilch. lol

Actually, they have. Their proof isn't the issue, your ability to comprehend is.
LOS ANGELES – UTAH was chosen the favorite to win the 2019 Pac-12 Conference football title in a vote of 35 media members who cover Pac-12 football. The Utes received 12 votes to earn the preseason nod, edging OREGON (11) and defending Pac-12 Champion WASHINGTON (9).Jul 24, 2019

They were Pre season favorites to be the team in the North to play in the conference championship game

Hilarious too that he disregards his own standard to set a different one.

It's common knowledge that the AP and Coaches polls don't pick conference champions and the highest ranked team from each conference is the de facto conference champion pick.

Duck fans gonna Duck fans I guess. lol
