The problem is the SEC ESPN mentality.
Two top ten SEC teams play- The winner is bumped up because they beat a good team. loser played a great team and still gets props

Two top ten PAC teams play- The winner beat a team who wasn't really top 10 quality, the loser couldn't beat a top ten team so they must suck.

Outcome- SEC still has two top ten teams
PAC has one top ten team but with no great win.
