Whatever. Even with this bizarro world of the NCAA having a "transfer portal", it will be up to the school they go to, to figure out if they'll play this fall or better to wait a year. If Cal or Colorado or whoever wants them, go for it. At least I saw this coming with the massive logjam we had at QB going into spring. Something had to give. It's not shocking.
Agreed although there's a bit more to it according to Ruth Robbins. I know she's a troll at times but she made an innuendo in her piece about this that was somewhat backed up by the Times.

Meh. Ruth is a histrionic drama queen and I rank the Seattle Times with CNN when it comes to journalism. Even their sports dept.

Morris was already on par with Sirmon and Yankoff and he's basically a high school senior. There was a massive logjam, and you knew this was coming once Eason arrived at Montlake.

The only thing that worries me now is the injury situation with Eason. He goes out for any playing time this fall, and it's only Hearner or Morris. That's a shaky situation, but it is what it is.

I'm praying Heaner wins the starting role just to see the meltdown. Heaner is the Donald Trump of Husky football. The media keeps giving Eason handjobs while dissing Heaner.

One other thing. Petersen keeps hiring these Boise St. retreads. We need us a real OC for once. It won't happen but I'd like to see Petersen jack SC's new OC Graham Harrell right after the season is over with.

So you're saying CU didn't make the pre preseason top 25? They got time to improve. Did you know they won their spring game? Go Buffs!
So we did not make the top 10? Outrage!!! (Looking for a chip to install on shoulders) We should be good, scary good this year...

Oregon is ranked too high. Need to see how they look in the game vs the barn before they should be ranked in the top 20. They are only ranked that high for the E$PN hype train for the game.

That use to be a rule in the conference not a NCAA rule. But not sure if that rule is still in place because you don’t see a lot transfers in conference anymore.
Forgot to ask you after the draft but what did you think of Jacksonville getting your boy Minshew? I know they spent a lot of money picking up Nick Foles but I really think GM can play his way into being the number two by the end of training camp and possibly even in consideration for the starter by the middle of the year. I will never publicly admit it but I liked the kid when he was a cougar(yes even after what he did to the ducks). I kinda hope he gets his chance to shine at some point this coming year.

This is the current transfer guide made by the NCAA for students to understand transfers.

You DO still have to sit out one year. That has not changed. There is no mention of two years for going to the same conference.
the pac 12 had its own rule about intraconference transfer
like i said not sure if it is still in place but the rules are
must sit out first year of enrollment at new school
also loses 1 year of eligibility
there are of course waivers and exceptions
