Maybe I don't understand his ratings?

Oregon and USC were basically in a dead heat for the PAC title with USC winning the head to head, but Oregon winning the PAC title because of a slightly better winning percentage. So I could see USC ranked ahead of Oregon, but not Colorado.

KenPom looks at offensive and defensive efficiency throughout the years so MOV comes into play. It’s a predictive model so it’s not meant to reflect the standings.

That said, Oregon’s numbers have gone way up since Richardson came back. They were in the 40s before he played. My guess is if he played the whole year, Oregon would be higher up the ratings

Just a FYI, Wazzu has beaten every Pac 12 team in the tournament and had a double digit lead on each before we rested our starters.

I had a lot of hope for him coming from Syracuse.

Honestly, so did I. He did really well in his first two season and going into year 3 he had two 5 star recruits and a pretty talented roster. After a disappointing 19-20, things really cratered this year. I guess the buyout money was too much but I really don't understand bringing him back for 21-22 unless you're committed to Hopkins long term. Maybe they still are committed to Hopkins long term.

So curious. Who all here is confident in their team beating Gonzaga if they make it that far? Personally, IF my team does, I am taking comfort into the fact that they will not beat that team.

Zags will be the favorite but I wouldn’t be shocked if USC or Oregon won. Last year Oregon played Gonzaga and Gonzaga won by 1 in OT

Well fuck off, I swore we beat you. But I am guessing the Pac 12 Network had it wrong and said it was live not repeat.

Going by a result from last year when Gonzaga wasn’t the same team gives you confidence?

Both teams are obviously different dipshit. My point was Gonzaga had a really good record last year but the PAC 12 Champion played them as close as you could possibly get. It shouldn't shock anyone if that happened again.

I won't go so far as to say that USC will beat them.

But I will say that we have the length and athleticism to give them a lot of trouble which would give us a solid shot.

Dipshit? I asked you a question. Not sure how that is dipshit worthy. But yes, every single fan in the world would be shocked if any team beats Gonzaga. Kind of the definition of being the number 1 overall seed, no?

Nobody should be shocked. Is Gonzaga gonna be favored? Of course. But the favored team doesn’t always win. Especially in the NCAAT

By definition it is shock, what are you talking about? Upsets happen, but it still shocking.

Oral Roberts beating Ohio State was shocking. UCLA beating BYU, despite being underdogs, was not shocking.

It’s basketball. Upsets are not that shocking, especially deeper in the tournament.
Quite the contrary DRT. I see it the other way, Upsets are not that shocking, especially early on in the tournament.

I'd wish you all luck today, except it wouldn't be sincere.

I was shocked by their win over Alabama though

I wasn't. Alabama had a nice season but they didn't have overwhelming talent.

I was shocked at how bad their FT shooting was
