I haven't heard nothing about him, so I guess it might be the end of his career.

I was really hoping Doug could have signed him this year.

Do any of you think he gets a contract from a NHL team before the Trade Dead Line?

He has to clear waivers if he does get a contract, but I hope what ever happens I hope he plays for a contender maybe the "Sharks"

Very true, but what if Doug is thinking "why would I sign him or any other player to a contract then having the risk of losing him to waivers." Why risk signing a player that 29 other teams have a choice to pick up, than waiting for another team to sign a player and cutting the list of teams in half on the waiver wire.
