You know all us long-time Caps' fans wish we could be back in the old Patrick Division with those old rivals. That said, we'll take an almost automatic top 3 seed in the playoffs for a few years.

Oh no doubt! Bolts (youth) and Canes (healthier) definitely looking better, as are the Atlanta Blackhawks.

I was looking at the standings because I was trying to refute Auto's notion that the Central is the toughest division this year.....as the math shows, he's still correct

I miss the Patrick division. It's weird to me that so many people seem to think that the Caps/Pens rivalry started with the current crop of talent.
