Where is he now?

The Bosselman Companies, Bosselman Entertainment LLC and the Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team are pleased to announce the signing of: Dede Dorsey.

Dorsey, a 6'0 208 RB/DB, has spent time in the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts (Super Bowl Champions 2006), and Detroit Lions. Most recently, Dorsey played in the United Football League under Jim Fassel and the Las Vegas Locomotives. Dorsey was the Championship game MVP in the league's inaugural season of 2009 as the Locomotives were UFL Champions in back to back seasons. He is a graduate of Lindenwood University, where as a senior, he was named first-team all-NAIA as a running back after rushing for 1,600 yards and 18 touchdowns. It was the first time in NAIA history that a player was named first-team NAIA on defense and offense in successive seasons. In less than three seasons as a defensive player, Dorsey had seven career interceptions, returning four for touchdowns, and blocked seven field goals and nine punts.

Danger Head Coach Mike Davis remarks, "We can expect a plethora of things from Dorsey. He will be on offense, defense, and special teams while he is in a Danger uniform. He has the versatility to be used at any position on the field, which will be a huge asset to our team."

Sounds like he would be the best DB on our team right now.

It is kinda like no team willing to give Dede Dorsey a chance, including us. Must have been something messed up with that dude personality wise, or attitude wise, because he did nothing but produce when on the field no matter where he was at..college, special teams in the NFL, backup running back, and in the AFL or whatever it is called, led his league in rushing.

I never understood that either, but some guys get pigeoned holed and that basically defines their career.

If there are scouts who are trained to identify talent from 32 teams (not including AFL and CFL teams) that all think he sucks, maybe it's your own ability to identify talent that is a little more flawed than him just being 'pigeon holed'

He has only excelled everywhere he has been when he was given a chance to start. Something he was never given with any of the three NFL franchises he played for. Like I said, maybe he is not a starting RB in this league, but I can guarantee you he is at least as good as freaking Benard Scott is and what his role is.

As we have all said, Bernard Scott really sucks too.

You never know if he is here...Detroit didnt give him a chance because they had money in the position and wanted to play those guys....its too late now
