When was the last time the Bengals scored 40+ points 3 times in a season?
I know the Browns game was more the defense there, but in general, this team has scored 40+ points 3 times this year!! Seriously, when was the last time we did that?
When was the last time we were 6-0 at home?
When was the last time we beat teams like GB, NE, IND, DET (road), SD (road), who are potential playoff teams, all of them, especially with a healthy Rodgers?
I can't remember the last time we had this much balance in our offense and defense. We have lost a lot of quality players, especially on defense, and we have the depth to actually not be devistated by that, including the best defensive tackle in the NFL, our #1 CB, and several more key players.
If we can stay healthy the rest of the way as a lot of teams are starting to lose players left and right, we may have the depth to actually help us push for a deep playoff run.
NE has to play Balt and Miami on the road, two teams tied for that 6th wildcard slot, without Gronk. I like our chances of getting that #2 playoff slot. With the way we have played at home this year, if we can get a free pass in round 1, and then get a home game in round 2, we have a great chance of facing Denver in the AFC Championship game.
